Telling a ghost story is a moment of intimacy, memories, thrill, and even laughter. Désirée 0100 and Giulia Bonfiglio host evenings where they tell personal ghost stories, and invite the audience to share theirs.
This evening is a homage to the iconic radio show La Mano Peluda/Miedoteca. This show has been a space for almost 30 years where listeners call to tell their paranormal experiences, often involving ghosts in Mexico and Latin America. Latin American diaspora, especially the Mexican diaspora, has developed a strong affection for this show, as it has made them feel closer to their home country and family members they haven't seen in a long time.
Presented at: Vulture Feast (2024), event by Catalina Insignares & Carolina Medoça, Beursschouburg, Brussels.
